βIn the same way as when we swim in the ocean there is no way to do anything to the waves around us, but simply be with them & navigate ourselves accordingly;
we have the same capacity to grow mindfulness in ways which allows us to respond to our inner & outer experiences with gentleness, rather than reacting on impulse.
This shift in effort can offer relief from overly critical cultural & societal conditioning.
By giving ourselves permission to mindfully flow with life, we can open ourselves to connection & play, while holding an awareness that everything we encounter in our lives is temporary.β
